It is with mixed emotions that I write my last blog entry as a therapist in Bethesda MD. As my clients and colleagues already know, I have accepted a full-time position as a family therapist in Chicago, IL. I’m originally from the windy city and I’m personally very excited to be closer to my own family, especially to my first niece who was born just weeks ago.
That being said, this decision was not made lightly. I’ve had a wonderful experience working at Lindsey Hoskins & Associates as a Bethesda MD therapist, and I will genuinely miss my fellow therapists as well as the clients that I’ve been privileged to witness work so hard to make the changes they desire in their lives.
As Winnie the Pooh once said, “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” As I take this next step in my own personal journey, I feel honored to have been a part of yours, and I wish both my clients and fellow therapists at LHA all the best.
