My Background:
My clinical training has included work with individuals, couples, families, groups and adolescents who were all from diverse backgrounds. As a marriage and family therapist, my specialty is working from a relationship standpoint. Relationships in distress can cause unresolved issues, resentment and unhealthy communication patterns. Healthy relationships can spark growth, enlightenment, and new found appreciation. I welcome all clients with diverse issues and through the use of empathy and understanding I aim to increase self understanding while identifying what could be impeding on your personal growth and life enrichment. There are a variety of reasons why you may have chosen to come to therapy but one thing is clear: you have the motivation to change something. Whether it be an on individual, couples or family basis, I want to take your motivation and together come up with what the next steps are toward your fulfillment.

Clinical Expertise:
I do not believe that therapy is “one size fits all”. My approach to therapy is very integrative and humanistic in that I use a variety of techniques/mediums that will fit the situation and people involved. In making sure that each session is tailored to your needs, collaboration is key to the therapeutic success. You are the expert in your life and I am your facilitator of self understanding. Together, we can achieve insight needed to achieve your goals and tackle what is in front of you. I take pride in being able to empower clients to create meaningful experiences, foster change, build their sense of resiliency, and also sustain a balanced lifestyle/outlook.

About Me:
I take a very personable approach to therapy and will create a non-judgemental atmosphere filled with positivity and encouragement to challenge my clients to utilize their strengths in order to overcome challenges. There may be other factors in your life that tells you what you “should be” doing but navigating your needs and what you want to see in yourself and/or relationship is what takes priority in the therapeutic setting. Whether it be day to day challenges, processing past issues, or moving forward towards positive changes, I am here to help strengthen and enhance. I am married and have two kiddos. When I’m not going on family adventures or kickboxing, I am trying new restaurants with my husband, rough and tumbling a 5-year old Spiderman, or using my dance training to share the love of movement with my Princess.
