Biography
I believe that “right connection” between you and I as your therapist is a fundamental component to effective treatment. I understand that everyone enters the therapeutic relationship with unique experiences, their own personal stories, strengths and individualized needs. For this reason, I employ person centered methods to create the most supportive, empowering environment possible. My role is to assist you in reaching your goals and achieving positive changes.
About Me
I understand that therapy is not a one size fits all, so my approach is adaptable and collaborative to meet each client’s specific needs. I believe empathy and unconditional positive regard are key elements which help build a connection with each client to evoke empowerment and change. I also assist them with exploring alternate perspectives and work toward equipping them with skills and knowledge they can implement throughout their lives in order to continuously accomplish their goals. My style is simply one that helps you grow to be the best you possible. I am fluent in Haitian Creole and love working with clients from all cultural backgrounds.
When I am not working, I love to cook and watch re-runs of my favorite shows. Traveling is high on my list of ways to explore and find adventure with my best friends.
